FMS MANAGEMENT TEAM
Balaji Rajan - President and CEO. With over 16 years in the financial services industry, Balaji provides direction to the Company and works with operations and customers to enhance solutions and deliver results.
Mark Wieczorek - Director, Government Services. Mark has 17 years of experience in Education collection contracts and has managed large government contract collections and compliance operations.
Michael Gerdes - Chief Financial Officer. Mike has served as CFO for companies in Chicago and California, primarily in the financial services industry. Mike has assisted several companies through difficult startup and turnaround situations. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Michael Polo - Chief Information Officer. With over 20 years of IT experience in companies ranging from startup organizations to mature global enterprises, Mike brings a solid management presence to our IT staff. As a proven enabler of security and compliance practices, a leader with clear strategic IT vision, and with a focused commitment to make technology an enabler of our business growth, Mike represents a strong addition to our executive management team.
Gary Sowell Jr. - Senior Manager. Gary has ten years of experience in management of student loan debt collection. His experience includes the entire cycle of the student loan collection process.
John Kolakowski - Senior Collection Manager. John has been in the customer service and collection profession for over 17 years. Leadership, problem solving and quality care are some of his strong skills and with John’s overall competitive nature and never give-up attitude makes him a perfect fit in the collection arena and FMS.
Paul Dodson - Director, Human Capital Management Paul has over 25 years in Management covering all phases of Government and Private Sector collections. He oversees our Human Resource, Training and Recruitment Departments. He attended Forest Park and Meremac Colleges
Lesli Paul - Quality Control Manager. Lesli has over 8 years experience in customer care and quality as well as 5 years experience on government contracts. Lesli heads the company wide Quality Control Staff of FMS, and individual borrower issues and coordinates resolution with the ED Contract Monitor.
Tom Stack - Director, Federal Services and Solutions. Tom has over 30 years of experience in federal government and was in charge of Cash and Credit Management as the Senior Advisor to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Executive Office of the President of the United States.
John Chavez - Director, State Revenue Solutions. John is acknowledged as a leader in state tax and finance issues and has a proven track record as the Cabinet Secretary of the State of New Mexico for Taxation and Finance from 1995 to 2001. He has over 20 years of experience in government finance.
Laura Adkins - Project Leader. Laura has 10 years experience managing the collection of program debts through the Treasury Offset Program (TOP) for the Food and Nutrition Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture. She retired with 38 years of experience in federal service.
