Message to Borrowers:

Interruption of Loan Rehabilitations
Due to current conditions in the student loan financial market, we will not be able to submit your loan for sale to a rehabilitation lender as soon as we had initially hoped. The U.S. Department of Education is working toward a solution that will allow you to earn all the benefits you have been promised. This new solution will require you to apply for a Direct Consolidation Loan, and we will assist you in this process by preparing the necessary application materials for your signature in the near future. At this point the Department does not know how quickly this new solution will be in place, so in order to remain eligible for the benefits of rehabilitation that you have been promised, you must continue to make your monthly payment each month until this new solution is in place.

For further information on loan rehabilitations, you may visit the U.S. Department of Education’s website: http://www.1800iwillpay.com/bsr/
